PLCC (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) is a plastic chip carrier with leads, which is one of the surface mount packages. The external size is much smaller than that of the DIP package. The PLCC package is compatable for mounting and bonding on PCB with SMT surface mount technology. PLCC Leadframes has the  advantages of small size and high reliability. Products are mainly applying in program logic IC.
